My Journey

About Me

My name is Lisa Leonard. I am a retired Army officer, marathoner, cyclist, triathlete and founder of Dusk2Dawn. Thank you for your interest in keeping yourself and your loved ones safe while they run, hike, bike and romp in the great outdoors.

After trying many different products to light myself up outdoors, I quickly became frustrated; sure there are reflective jackets out there but they primarily run on LEDs powered by AAA batteries which I found to be too heavy for any serious athletic activity. The smaller LED bracelets, hats and belts on the market provided only limited visibility and I found all of the reflective vests to be too flappy and uncomfortable. After trying basically everything on the market, I realized that the best solution would be a lightweight product that was transferrable from my running tank top, to tee shirt or jacket. What I was looking for was simply not on the market, so I decided to design it myself.

My Dusk2Dawn Safety Device is both fluorescent and reflective and contains powerful lights in a lightweight and transferable product. You won't even know you have it on, but oncoming cars will.

My goal is to keep you and your loved ones safe!
